1 in 12 U.S. adults report that they have been a victim of “revenge porn.” 1 in 20 report perpetration of revenge porn (Ruvalcaba & Eaton, 2020). 

Women are more likely to be victims of revenge porn than men.  Women who experience revenge porn report higher rates of psychological problems (Ruvalcaba & Eaton, 2020). 

92% of victims of revenge porn are women (Uhl et al, 2018).
